I have that song running through my mind. You can't alwaysget what you want...but if you try sometimes you'll find you get what you need.
There is nothing like going out of town to help you relax and let go of all the stress of the day to day grind. This year, my siblings decided we would go to Palawan. Knowing that I would have the hardest time getting my leave granted, we bought our tickets last year. Talk about long time coming!
I keep telling myself I will get the site ayed out properly and write every week. That plan however has fallen to the wayside as my time has been eaten up by the day to day needs. Not much creative juice flowing lately.
I am happy the fall season has begun in the US. It means more shows for me to enjoy every week. I will definitely miss Eureka though. I really am excited to see when they'll get Zane and Jo back together.
Shows I'm following this season:

A lot of people don't believe me when I tell them that I prefer being home. Why go out and spend unnecessarily when being at home is sooo much better? Accessible food, comfy place to rest, lots of choices of what to do. Never boring when there are so many ways to entertain oneself. I have my books to read plus being a child of the electronics age, videos, the internet and yes a radio. MP3 players are good but there are times I want to hear the sound of the music being popularized by commerce and ads.
Everyday I tell myself I will fix that growing pile of paper on the corner of my desk. At the end of everyday I sweep the whole pile into a bundle and place it safely in the container for my files - exactly as it was in the pile. Next day, out it comes for sorting and again gets forgotten til day's end has rolled around. It then feels like a major project to sort and file it all.
It has been a very tiring but very happy weekend. My old team was declared the best of the best for our account. and this qualified us to overnight at Punta Fuego. It was beautiful! I wouldn't mind having a place there. It was an all expense paid trip and it is something I will never forget.
With the fall season in the US over for most of the shows, I've been searching for stuff to watch. Since we unsubscribed from our cable company about 2 years ago, I decided to peek and see if anything good is available.
As I looked at the channel line up, I found that I would probably end up with their cheapest plan and be forced to add on channels. I looked at their channel line up for the regular packages and found at least 10 (actually more) that I would never watch because I don't speak the language used and would never go there.
For some people, a day off means getting to wake up late and breakfast in bed. It can mean a couple of days out of town. Some days I get the first but it sure has been a while since I had the 2nd.
With my hours upside down, a day off for me meas run errand time. It also means make sure I hang out with the kids. I desperately try not to fall asleep if the sun is down as that will screw up my body clock is one of the toughest parts.Sun goes down, the night grows cooler and next thing I know, it's a beautiful morning.
When I first began to blog, I would write down whatever I felt like putting into written form. I felt that my blog was my place to say anything I wanted. I could say things the way I want and have people of a similar interest respond. My very own site for items of interest to me, it would be a chance to do reviews and share stories that run through my head.
