Blogging Uncensored?

When I first began to blog, I would write down whatever I felt like putting into written form. I felt that my blog was my place to say anything I wanted. I could say things the way I want and have people of a similar interest respond. My very own site for items of interest to me, it would be a chance to do reviews and share stories that run through my head.

As time went on though, I have found myself hesitant to write. Miscommunications have made me wary of putting in anything that might be misconstrued. I also had to stop and think about how much did I want people I didn't know well to know about me. I'm no showbiz, fame hungry creature who wants fame at the cose of privacy. A lot of things are meant to be private.

I also observed some acquaintances who have forgotten that what they write can be read by anyone with access to the internet and use their blogs as a venue to air their dirty laundry. I don't want to follow that path. If I wanted to deal with those kind of things I'd put up a laundromat.

I found this formula works.

  • I should write about things that interest me, things I have done, things  I would like to do or take part in. I always want to enjoy reading what I write.
  • Never write about something that has no connection to me at all - ugh! fastest way to get tired of writing.
  • Always read three times before posting. Make sure I can live with any fallout from reactions of readers.
  • Ensure that I never give too much information away as to create stalkers. Fans - good! Stalkers - extremely bad!!!

Now, I have to go take a nap. Zzzzz time....
