With the fall season in the US over for most of the shows, I've been searching for stuff to watch. Since we unsubscribed from our cable company about 2 years ago, I decided to peek and see if anything good is available.
As I looked at the channel line up, I found that I would probably end up with their cheapest plan and be forced to add on channels. I looked at their channel line up for the regular packages and found at least 10 (actually more) that I would never watch because I don't speak the language used and would never go there.
I found myself wondering why their website still doesn't have a package designer. It would be nice to have a potion of their site that lets you actually "see" your package. For example, you check the plan you'd like, then add channels you want and hey presto! you'd see the amount you'd pay if you got that package. I know that that kind of thing has been around for years but weirdly, no on the site of the cable companies.
I'm still on the fence about getting cable TV. I don't really vegetate in front of it that I wonder if it's worth it.
